Nothing like a stranger putting a pit bull at biteyerfaceoff level to make other riders super relieved there's a chicken head hat involved.

(I hasten to add: I wouldn't know a pit bull from a labradoodle. To me all dogs on buses are pit bulls.)

@14, my border collie loves to swim; I've often fantasized about making her a shark fin. Put her in Lake Washington and she'll paddle out 20 feet and is then content to do laps along the shore for an hour or more. If I don't throw a ball, she won't come back in.

'Cause when I take my seat on the bus, what I really want is for some dog's anus to have been pressed against it.

Actually, I take that back. A dog's anus is probably cleaner than your average Metro bus.
