She was telling...
Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies.

Natural law?

Ramifications?

Completely different institution?

Religious liberty and religious freedom?

What the hell is she talking about?

She wants to defend people's right to refuse service to homosexuals. There is no such right.

Hey, Eli,

It would be awesome if you could give us the minute number to check out her speech. Some of us might not have the interest or time to listen to the whole thing. I would say this would a good policy for any of these legislative video sources that SLOG posts from time to time. Best practices for UX and all. Thanks. ~

No one talks about natural law vis-à-vis marriage equality unless they're coming from a religious perspective.

Idiot.
I agree: so many questions...about when the fuck this became a religious freedom issue? practice your fucking religion, I don't give a fuck. Just leave us the fuck alone and mind your own business.
What a bunch of drama queens.

I'm not so sure it's that difficult of an issue for most of the people on the floor. Most of the Democrats have supported the issue for years, and most of the Republicans knew going in that they were going to vote no. I doubt it if it was much a difficult issue for Rep. Smith, either. Maybe it was tough for that delightful Rep. Walsh. Maybe a couple of other folks. But that false "this is so hard" shit... man... political varnish. It's "I'm voting against your rights, but please don't be mad at me." It's slapping someone in the face and then saying "nothing personal".
