It's true that the three caucuses today aren't technically for any delegates. Colorado and Minnesota are nonbinding caucuses—because, why not, right?—and Missouri has been referred to ad nauseam as a "beauty contest," since they'll be doing another caucus on March 17th for some reason. (This is the only time "Missouri" and "beauty contest" have ever been used in the same sentence.)

But! Santorum is looking good (this is the only time you'll ever see the words "Santorum" and "looking good" in the same sentence) in Missouri and Minnesota, and he could capitalize on this energy to frame himself as the new not-Romney. We could be looking at Santorum's second coming. We'll find out for sure starting in just a few minutes, right here on Slog.
