Roseanne's In, Because Why Not?

Posted by on Fri, Feb 3, 2012 at 10:34 AM

Roseanne Barr is running for president:

“I am running for Green Party nominee for POTUS. I am an official candidate. I am4 the Greening of America&the world. Green=peace/justice,” she wrote on Twitter.

This actually isn't the first time Roseanne has announced she's running for president. She did so back in August, too, so we know she's doubly serious.

But here's the thing: Roseanne is pro-pot and anti-war. Maybe Ron Paul fans should throw their support behind Roseanne. She's got the issues they believe in, and to my knowledge, she doesn't consort with white supremacists or plot Aryan libertarian paradises in the Caribbean, so she's actually a stronger candidate. I think Roseanne Barr is more likely to become president than Ron Paul, anyway.

This morning, while checking on the weather, I accidentally dialed up KIRO instead of KOMO and heard a snatch of local faux crat, but really neocon douchebagger, David Ross (NY transplant, definitely not a local) making snarky comments about my hero, Rosy the Magnificent, and Ross mentioned he didn't think one could hold dual positions in the Israel and American governments.

Of course, Ross would never know, being the complete and total newsy-wannabe ignoramus jackhole that he is, that indeed there have been, and I believe still are, individuals in the US State Department and US Defense Department who are also members of the central bank of Israel.

So where do you go for the news????

Also, while I've never been a Ron Paul supporter, as he is as anti-worker as the other r-cons and most faux crats today, I have found them to be generally far more intelligent than the extremely limited Paul Constant (usually the ones I have argued with have at least 100 IQ points on Paulie), unfortunately, they just don't know and are dupes, like that Constant Clown, of the anti-worker nature of the 'cons and the faux crats today.

I don't believe that there's such a person anymore as "Rosanne Barr".

Clearly, she thinks being crazy qualifies you to be president. Looking at the other candidates, I can see how she might have come to that conclusion, but no thanks.

Hahaha. This is typical Constant: decry Ron Paul's racial politics and the har, har of a comedienne running for President, while the current occupant has sees no problem in killing American citizens without trial, tons more other brown innocent brown folks, and shaking the death rattle for Iran.

If you give her a Snickers she turns back into Ron Paul.

"Repent your support of the devil Obama! We need to elect fringe candidate X instead, that is clearly a recipe for success in a political system tidally locked towards centrism."

Loose Meat Sandwiches in Every Lunchbox!!

All kidding aside, I would MUCH RATHER see Roseanne in the Oval Office than any one of those Republican jackasses we've been treated to over the last few months...

But still: OBAMA 2012

Confidential to dirac: that horse you're beating is dead, dead, dead.

Maybe you can find something to obsess over? Just a thought...

Roseanne Barr is a turd in the punch bowl. Considering the Republican line-up, she has plenty of company.

^ should read "something new to obsess over"

Carry on.

@13 And that's proof that thoughts are highly overrated.

Zomg, so funny! I have to be "obsessed" to make up for your willful ignorance. Let me know how the horse is dead, btw? Did Obama quit his pro-military, finance, Homeland Security statism? And can one still be a supporter (whatever that means) and still be critical? To tribalists, I guess not.

I have to wrap my head around that. Constant was ready to blow the President over one of the most jingoistic, reactionary SOTU addresses I've seen. But let's continue to NOT obsess over some losing candidate's racial politics and...Roseanne Arnold. That seems to be the priority here.

Paul Dear,

How much do you charge? You know, to suck dick?

What is it with you screaming bitchy Democratic Party queens that you must declare anyone who dares question the omniscience and benevolence of Our Savior Obama to be evil incarnate? You're as batshit crazy as those Teabaggers calling Obama a Kenyan socialist.

Can you even imagine a rational, intelligent person NOT supporting the Democrats? I mean, after all, they are the party that seceded from the Union because they wanted to own black people and they are the party of Fred Phelps.

Seriously, Paul, whatever Obama is paying you to lick his ass, I'll double that. And I can promise you my ass doesn't taste like pineapple and cocaine.

I'm voting for Obama...I think we need to keep someone in the White House who has no problem murdering American citizens without due process. But he does say a little prayer in the morning, so that makes it all better.

@12 How do you know that the "horse [dirac] is beating" is dead? Was it in the general vicinity of one of Obama's "targeted" drone strikes?

http://youtu.be/_9DE0ON_Uzo

But seriously Paul, covering Roseanne before giving any mention to alternative candidates with actual executive government experience and substantive platforms? That takes class.

Exploiting SLOG to mock and belittle the notion of a progressive challenge to Obama? That's something to feel proud about.

For those of you who don't swoon for a guy whose top economic advisers have their fingerprints all over the economic collapse, who continues to accept millions in contributions from Wall Street, who has signed a law that destroys due process (NDAA), and who has ordered drone strikes that have killed children and at least one American citizen (to the great pleasure of Rick Santorum: http://youtu.be/n8uNcIEvGdo), please realize that you have options in 2012.

If you're talking about Roseanne, she made fucking She-Devil. So suck on that. What have you done for the betterment of your fellow man?

I'm def not voting for the anti-pot pro-war Obama, so really anyone on the opposite side of either of those issues will get my immediate attention. I would argue though that the people who were willing to take the time out of their day to go physically support Paul won't run towards a Roseanne presidency because she would be wholly on the side of spending for the public good. Paul is totally opposed to that in every single way except war, which is a little ironic but whatever. Paul's supporters really want to end the fed too, and while Roseanne would support the kind of disclosure that more liberal leaning people would be satisfied with but the Paul supporters want it ended. I don't see them hard shifting, we're much more likely to just violently overthrow this horrible excuse for a government.
