Haha true. But at least we're short by 1 Shangela...for now.

I almost cried when Shangela came out of that box. I totally fell for it. So sick of halleloo. And Phi Phi O'Hara... she was so mean for no reason! (though she has THE BEST GLASSES) I'm worried that Willam may be hiding a massive asshole of Raja-sized proportions under his adorable exterior... but damn, his exterior is adorable, so I forgive him for now. His eyes are like deep pools of soulfulness. And I'm really annoyed about who left, because it totally wasn't fair. I just want an honest drag race this year after the bitchiness and favorite-playing of the 3rd season...and Sharon Needles is THE BEST, I hope what she said about not knowing how to sew doesn't end up getting her kicked out, because she needs to win this season.

Willam "hiding"? Seemed pretty obvious (A-holeness) to me! "You have a TV? I'm on TV!" Yeah, you and all the competitors by the time the show airs, bi-otch...

Nobody stood out for me, but I'm still pretty new to this thing (only got into it last season. Oh right: I didn't have LOGO before, is why!)

"This is Rupaul's Drag Race, not Rupal's Drag Walk!" -- Milan That line just about killed me. Also, Willam was really showing off her CharismaUniquenessNerveTalent, and it was delightful. She's got some serious wit. Can't wait to see Dan as a judge later this season!!!

Oh man, I totally failed gay class. Is this shit going to be on the test? When is there going to be a show for the gay boys that dress up like boys, and you know, do boy stuff... like hunt and fish and work on cars and play golf and drink beer out of cans? Someday...

@9 Sorry, gays doing that boy stuff is too threatening.

My hubby wants to rename the show "RuPauls Drag Race...to the dentist."

Ugh. Was so excited for this season, but I barely made it through the episode. One or two possible standouts, and the rest are forgettable. A friend at work and I have been talking about the premiere for weeks. He just walked by to commiserate about how terrible the show was. Sigh.

I've been reading your blog for years and have never watched Drag Race until yesterday. I thought it was great!! Granted, it wasn't Doctor Who or AbFab, but as pure brain candy it was much more fun than Project Runway and others of that ilk. Unfortunately, I now have to add it to my holy-crap-I-watch-too-much-tv list. Thanks Dan!

I'm with @11... They should split the $100,000 and find a good orthodontist.

Too much fun! I'm ready for the next episode already.

Sharon Needles is refreshing amongst all the beauty fish. Gummy smiles and fang teeth ABOUND this year. Ugh.

The queens look a little rougher this year than last season. But should be very entertaining.

I loved Sharon Needles, but fashion-wise, I thought Chad Michaels actually had the most "couture"-looking outfit. Also, I can already tell that the tiny one is going to annoy me. And WTF is with Phi Phi O'Hara? She seems like a total stuck-up bitch...

For those of us who don't watch TV and have never heard of this, what IS it?

@20, the GREATEST TV Show on earth!!! And I'm sorry I missed it last night. I DVRed it and am finishing up my super awesome megathon of the past three seasons before I can watch last night's episode this week sometime.

I just hope it gets all fierce up in this mother fucker this season!!

@20 - it's available online at logotv.com. "I don't have a TV" is no longer a valid excuse for the stuck-up pop culture shunners.

I thought Phi Phi and the one who went home, uhh whats her name, were pretty hot out of drag. And The Princess didn't look bad either. Phi Phi came off as INCREDIBLY insecure. She needed to just STFU and let Wiliam be his self-absorbed self.

But seriously, there are some hot messes on the show this season, on top of the fucked up grills. And Wiliam, you need to work on that 5 o'clock shadow grrr.
