Gay Rights Supporter? Your Presence Is Requested at Wednesday's Big Gay Marriage Vote in Olympia

Posted by on Mon, Jan 30, 2012 at 11:57 AM

As mentioned in the Morning News, the Washington State Senate will vote on gay marriage this Wednesday starting at around 10 a.m.

The senate is the only hurdle left for the marriage bill, since it's assured passage in the house and the governor has said she will sign it. So, in anticipation of Wednesday's pivotal senate yea-ing and nay-ing, Washington United for Marriage is asking gay rights supporters to make plans to head down to Olympia, pack the senate for marriage equality, and bear witness to (hopefully) history.

RSVP here.
