Call Me Cottonelle

Posted by on Fri, Jan 27, 2012 at 3:27 PM

If you have no weekend plans, may I suggest retyping the entirety of Moby Dick onto five or so rolls of toilet paper? Or, if you don't have a weekend to spare, you can just buy someone else's toilet-paper Moby Dick for two hundred bucks.

The reserve has not been met yet, Paul. It's going to take more than $200.

I can think of better things to copy onto toilet paper. Things that would make wiping a transcendent experience.

I love the fact that he did this a decade ago, and has been keeping it in a box ever since, only pulling it out to show people who doubted his assertion that he'd done it. Imagine how lucky and honored those people must have felt!

@3, are you referring to Bartleby the Shittener?

Witty witty peeps on here today (as on most days).

I would totally do this, but it's trumped by the possibility of counting the tumbleweeds deposited on the road in front of my house by the last windstorm.
