Actually, I like this. The last time I saw a post here, it was just a typical joke image, something like See Threepio as a crossing guard.

One can question the idea of Star Wars as high art all one wants, but Star Wars is ingrained in the cultural fabric, and this painting follows tradition in the sense of providing a vision of a quiet, contemplative moment for a mythic figure.

(Think about Renaissance paintings of Greek gods bathing, for example.)

There are many Star Wars tributes. Some of them are hamfisted. This one is actually quite nice.
