Gaaaah. Do we really care who Santorum's wife dated before she was married to the Senator? What does it imply about Santorum's viewpoint or policies?

All it really says [to me] is that Slog isn't above petty character assaults (not news to anyone) and that wives of political candidates shouldn't be allowed to change their viewpoints.

A crazy right-wing blog might do something similar and call Dan Savage a hypocrite because he once dated women. This is just as stupid.
