"Mark Wahlberg at His Best!"

Posted by on Tue, Jan 24, 2012 at 9:10 AM

This phrase—credited to a critic/entertainment reporter whose name I can't recall—appears in a television commercial for the new Mark Wahlberg thriller Contraband.

This is missing the correct answer: talking to animals.

Hey donkey!
What's up, Mark?
How's it going? You live in a barn, right? I'm in Max Payne. Have you seen that movie? Okay, donkey. Say hi to your mother for me.

Why is there no option in the poll for nostril-flaring and heavy breathing?

That'd get my vote.

I admire his ability to "smokes mics like a Phillie Blunt," but find his contention that he "don't even need bees" to be specist and perhaps shortsighted.

I quite unabashedly love him in The Big Hit on Boogie Knights. I'm especially enamoured of the scene where he beats the Dark Lord to death with his comically oversized penis.

Clearly, Mark Wahlberg bragging that he wouldn't have died like all those wusses on United Flight 23 is Mark Wahlberg at his Mark Wahlberg-iest. That's the superlative you should be polling.
