Homo Gay Marriage Opponents Say Yesterday's Hearings Went Really Well

Right after the first hearing, the 25th senator announced her dicisive vote in favor of marriage equality, all but ensuring it will pass the legislature. But here's the latest update from Stand for Marriage Washington:

News from Olympia: The two hearings went REALLY WELL today (Monday)....turnout for the "Marriage = one man + one woman" side was FANTASTIC! Hundreds....close to 1000 came to speak. Everyone on all sides of this issue got a chance to present their case. Now the vote must be made by legislators to change the state laws to redefine "Marriage" and to label—as the bill preambles of the bills say—"Mar...riage = one man + one woman" as "discriminatory" speech, so you will see pastors and others persecuted and fined as has happened elsewhere. The next step is to run our initiative to put this issue to a vote of the citizens. We will have many signatures to gather on our petitions, and we are unafraid....with God's help, we will honor Him and win this battle over Marriage!!!!!

Man, I hope more things go "really well" for these guys.

Drama Queens.

I would like to see a list a "pastors and others" who have been "persecuted and fined". I would like to know the amount of fines, and the extent of the persecution.

Huh? Wut? Yeah, on Bizzarro World maybe, but not in this dimension. If we took mental health more seriously, these people might be getting the care they obviously need.

Umm, on Gary Randal's blog last week they were anticipating a crowd of 10,000 anti-marriage activists. According to this, they achieved less than 10% of that, and are calling it FANTASTIC?

Let's see some evidence of persecution and fines! Naturally what I'd most like to see is some Bible-approved smiting. But it is so out of style. . .

These people are terribly off balance. I'm rather tired of their antics.

After deleting dozens of interesting, respectful comments they say:

"No offense everybody, but the original intent of this site was to post information that supports "Marraige = one man + one woman", not to argue any more."

Yes, it's perfectly clear that they want to meddle in other people's lives without ever having to talk to them. I'm sure their god did exactly the same.
