One of the biggest impacts of this decision may be in Microsoft's own back yard, which is represented in Olympia by undecided Republican State Senator Andy Hill.

If Hill isn't already feeling pressure from constituents to join other senate Republicans in supporting marriage equality, he will be now that the largest employer in his area is backing the measure.

And if Hill is worried about yesterday's threat from NOM to spend $250,000 on a primary challenger for him if he votes in favor of gay marriage—well, it's not that hard to find $250,000 for gay rights supporters at Microsoft.

I really don't know what he's waiting for at this point.

I think Microsoft is in the 48th, the 47th is north of Microsoft including parts Redmond, Woodenville, Kirkland and Sammamish.

Sorry, that should be the 45th. At least according to this map http://apps.leg.wa.gov/DistrictFinder/de…

FWIW, if you read the NOM press release, I think they're saying they're going to spend $250k TOTAL in Washington State for Republican primary challengers. If you get five Reps voting for marriage, that's less than $50k a pop. Easy to outdo by us marriage supporters.
