Hey! Here's a bar that's open tonight, hosting the continuation of the Stranger's First Annual Local Liquor Taste Tests!

Meet us at Liberty at 5:30 and blind taste-test local gin with President Andrew Friedman! He knows about your soft palate and everything.

The details:
· 5:30 p.m. to taste with misc. Stranger drunkards (you may do it without us later—or earlier!—just inquire)
· $5 tasting fee
· at Liberty on 15th (in the back room)
· TONIGHT! local gin!
· tomorrow: local wild cards (liqueurs, absinthes, who knows what all)

Last night's vodka tasting was both illuminating and intoxicating. We will be sharing the results next week, by which point we'll presumably be sober enough to count the votes.

Sledding before and afterward at 13th and Republican (sled at your own risk! Make sure someone's watching for traffic at the foot of the hill on 12th!!!). See you at Liberty!*

*If you're too far away, find out what else is open over here! We'll miss you!

I was going to go to Liberty tonight, but damn. I'm not looking forward to three hours on a bus in the cold--both ways. Guess I'll just have to sit by the pool with my homemade cocktails tonight. That is, unless somebody wants to give me a ride/couch.

@2 - Seems like it'd be easier to just sled down to Lake Washington and canoe across, but thanks.

You can have either of my love-seat sized couches.

@5 - You've met me, hell, you can see the picture. At the thought of sleeping on a loveseat, my back just spasmed up into one big knot. Thanks, though.

Oh look, a doughy bearded white dude in the snow. Seattle. Just more of the same during a blizzard.

it's 12:45am and the sledders finally stopped yelling and screaming right outside my bedroom window. good thing i have tomorrow off because of all the snow - oh wait, no, i have to be at work at 7am. awesome.
it's a fun hill to sled, and i'm all for neighbors hanging out together, but this is ridiculous. when i can hear you inside my apartment through ear plugs and a television, and you laugh at me when i ask you to please quiet down, we have a problem.
