The airport toilet that Larry Craig made famous is back in the news:

A Florida man arrested at Minneapolis-St. Paul International has been charged after being accused of using a camera in an airport bathroom. Joshua Fletcher is facing charges in Hennepin County for peeping and recording other men in a bathroom in Terminal One. Airport spokesperson Patrick Hogan tells KARE 11 Fletcher had a hidden camera inside a book with a hole for the camera lens The incident occurred in the same bathroom US Senator Larry Craig was arrested for soliciting sex in June of 2007.

i would just like to point out that all of us real minnesotans know that mr. fletcher was in the HUMPHREY terminal at the msp airport, not "terminal one." they changed the names a couple years ago because they thought the words "humphrey" and "lindbergh" were utterly confusing names for airport terminals and went with the much more straightforward "one" and "two." *rolls eyes.* for a year they had signs posted all over the place to explain the signs labeling the terminals. stupid.

I loved the joke from either Conan or Jimmy Kimmel back when that incident with Craig happened. It was something like "U.S. Senator Larry Craig denied he was gay....but he admitted that his feet were."

What is it about guys that makes us so kinky and creepy? Do women video other women in bathrooms? I doubt it. Do women molest kids? Maybe they do, but it always seems to be guys. Do women get off on videos of men peeing or like guys to pee or shit on them? To some extent, probably, but I doubt it's anything like guys.

Actually true Minnesotans know the Larry Craig terminal was the Lindbergh terminal which is now terminal one due to the odious reasons listed above

well, i feel sheepish. thanks, @8 for the correction. i was so excited about getting my self-righteous panties in a bundle that i went ahead and made a fool of myself. lesson for me to just keep my mouth shut a little more often, i guess. :)

@12 Testosterone make men do silly things. So does alcohol. Combine the two and you do some really silly things. On the other hand, I've had a hell of a good time due to those influences.

@11: Terminal 2 is actually okay; architecturally bland, but clean and shiny. Plus the easiest car rental setup anywhere.

And I have a soft spot for Terminal 1, where the first Airport movie was shot - partly for that reason, but mostly because seeing it when I was young usually involved my leaving Minnesota.

The best thing you can say about any airport, though, is that it sucks less than others.

Why do these articles always refer to it as a bathroom. Who goes into an airport facility to take a bath (or even a shower.) It's a toilet. If you want to use another euphemism call it a rest room or if you want to fake being Canadian call it a Wash Room.
