No School Wednesday

Seattle Public Schools have announced that they're going to be closed tomorrow. More information can be found here and here.

And so the Zombie Apocolypse is thwarted by kids sliding on cardboard boxes down streets closed to traffic, wielding snowballs for Snowpocolypse 2012!

Ugh, my younger self is green with envy over how little provocation it takes for Seattle schools to close for inclement weather. I have actually driven myself to school during a blizzard because they refused to close (despite the fact we had 3 or 4 days allotted for snow every year), while hearing the radio telling me that people shouldn't go to work unless absolutely necessary.

Come to think of it, I have to wonder why my parents didn't insist I just stay home either way...
