Hey, where's all the finger-wagging about shoveling the snow in front of your house/apt? I guess it's the benefit of it snowing on a Sunday.

How can we be sure this isn't a stock image uploaded sometime last night and set to post 10:11am today? ... Guess I'm gonna have to get out of bed to find out.

I shoveled my sidewalks this morning. It's snowing even harder now, so you can't even tell I did. [grumble]

3 dear, I've done you one better: not only did I abandon all of our vehicles in the middle of busy streets, I also made a big scene at the Grocery store, and bought all the water and toilet paper. I hoping to have a tearful breakdown on local television about how frightening this all is.

after the winter we had here last year in New England, you can keep all the damn snow.

Matt from Denver 10
@ 2, my time in Seattle taught me that the residents of that city do not own snow shovels.

@7: I trust that being a good enviro-minded citizen you are that it was the scratchy sawdusty "green" toilet paper you scooped up and not the last remaining jumbo packs of Charmin Ultra-Soft mega rolls.

I just ate a handful of yellow snow. It was de-lish!

@7 - I would pay to watch that on the news. Please tell me you've pre-smeared your mascara for the crying.

Cars seem to be driving okay on my swath of NE 15th, but no bus to take me to work.

@7, adding to @13, if during your commentary you could scratch at your hairline just enough to wiggle your whole wig a bit that would be a nice thing too.

What snow? Ballard is bare and kind of sunny. You people complain too much.

@16 there's maybe 1+1/2 or 2 inches on Capitol Hill, no joke. I've seen a few people walk by with snow saucers.

Wow! We are getting it here in south Seattle. Mr. Vel-DuRay and I actually did have to park the car a few blocks away and walk the rest of the way. I can see I-90 from the kitchen window and it's a mess.

And Phoebe dear, when I say all the toilet paper, I mean ALL the toilet paper.

I had a hell of a time riding my bike to work on the top of Capitol Hill. Rode through at least three inches -- it starting coming down once I crossed the ship canal.

@18, can I come over and use your bathroom? I really need to go, and some crazy bitch at the store bought all the toilet paper. I'll burn a match, I promise.

What Now? 24
I'm in Wallingford and it's snowy, but I can see Capitol Hill from here and it looks a lot snowier there.

Fucking hipsters! Stop bogarting the snow!

Wait, was that a cocaine joke?...

Fnarf dear, the first rule of snowpocalypse is that it's every man (or mannequin) for himself. Lack of planning on your part does not mean a crisis on my part.

@21: Clearly you need studded tires on that there bicycle! I just got a pair and anticipate using them for the first time this week. My friends swear by 'em.
