Snow This Weekend?

Posted by on Tue, Jan 10, 2012 at 1:29 PM

Rich Marriott from King 5 says so. I hope Rich Marriott is right, and that it doesn't melt by Monday. I love it when a little snow brings the city to its knees.

I was with a group of commuters that were stuck in the tunnel and delayed nearly an hour last night over an electrical issue. If we get snow, I'm staying home.

A "little" snow is all it really takes to bring that city to its knees.

"The bottom line---we have several dry days (guaranteed), but will have to watch the situation carefully this week. The forecasts are on the edge past Friday. We could end up with nothing or snowpocalypse. We will know in two days." - Cliff Mass

sadly, snow and rain does not make snow (per the forecast). I expect no snow (if visible in the sky) will hit the pavement as it will melt prior to the ground. :( Typical. :|

Monday is, for some, a holiday. Might diminish some of your joy.

Snow would be nice. A great excuse to strap on some skis and take the Burke-Gilman to work.

Nooooo! Wait until a UW class day (it's a three day weekend) so I get to take a sick day!

Please be right, Rich. Please be right. Or be wrong in that we will get much, much more snow than expected.

Anytime they predict snow we never seem to get it. Instead expect rain until it hits freezing then the rain stops, no snow falls and everything is covered in black ice.

Enjoy THAT commute kiddies!!

Damn it. I don't want it to snow because it's free national park weekend. Please weather goddess pick a different weekend.

i'd like to see a little, and this weekend's as good as any other. i live on what they call cougar mountain though, and i'd like it to not stick around very long if it comes. usually if we get more than about three inches, things stay fucked up for too long.
