The Jobs Madness Continues

Posted by on Thu, Jan 5, 2012 at 9:47 AM

WaPo:

Steve Jobs doll craze crashes manufacturer’s website...

The doll, which was created by Chinese company In Icons, will be released in February, but can be pre-ordered now. Of course, you’ll have to wait a bit until the Web site comes back up. It seems rabid Jobs fans have overwhelmed the company with visits.

If that’s the case, the fans who stay long enough to buy a doll will be shelling out big bucks for the 12-inch collectible: The figurine, which comes dressed in Jobs’s signature black turtleneck and New Balance shoes, costs $99.

If you can't get your hands on a Jobs doll, there is always...

They are also cheaper and not crashing websites.

These Jobs dolls seem convenient, in that if you see one in someone's house it will likely be prominently displayed, so you'll see it right away, and you can start maneuvering towards the door in order to escape. A little small talk, a convenient excuse, and you'll be away, before they start to talk about it.

You neglected to mention that Apple is suing the shit out of the manufacturer. It'll never happen.

Some real jobs madness will take place if a tax cutting conservative is elected POTUS (one who is also eligible to serve, and isn't afraid to prove it). Do that and this economy will take off like a rocket ship!

Why was the "Spear of Destiny" a sword in that video?

Hey, Squire Saffron is back to entertain us! And he's already doling out the nuggets of humor! Hooray! Seattleblues has seemingly retreated back to RedState for a refill on talking points, and Loves Child has... apparently died, so it's good to have you back!
