"25 People Who Just Googled 'Santorum' For The First Time"

Posted by on Wed, Jan 4, 2012 at 5:59 PM

Buzzfeed has collected some great Twitter/Facebook messages. My favorites are the people who think the whole thing's just an awkward coincidence. Check it out!

Ha, Dan...you are the first one going to a NDAA approved government "re-education center" if Santorum gets elected president.

En skummet blanding...sorry, just practicing.

I feel sorry for that lady who says "this is what we are up against".

Second?! Third!? This is completely unacceptable! We must be FIRST on all searches with Rick Santorum mentioned!

Hey Dan, get ready to cum before the new and improved House Un-American Activities Committee. Rick's gonna personally waterboard you with santorum in front of Jesus. All he has to do is choose Tim Tebow as his running mate and it's a done deal. Flee to Canada, Dan :)

My friend on facebook is extolling Mr Santorum's virtues. I just left a reply telling him to google it. We shall see if we're still "friends" tomorrow. : )

I think he should henceforth be referred to as "the eponymous Rick Santorum"

I love the one that says: "Now everything seems 'frothy' to me."

Indeed.

Rick Santorum should be included in parental filters.

What does this enduring googlebomb make seem more gross to Internet searchers: Santorum or santorum?

I can't not encourage you to bookGoogle

santorum history of the penis

because it really is a whole different level of awful. Nice paid ads though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but one of the side effects of all this new attention means people searching "Rick Santorum" instead of just "Santorum", and then clicking on the 3rd link to see what all the fuss is about will probably drive spreadingsantorum higher in the Google ranking for each search.

I read #3 on that page and had the best laugh for this week so far. I needed that laugh.

I just googled santorum (again, just to add to the hits)(and to verify that it's the first return) and a Romney advert popped up on the top. What does it mean?!? Is Romney behind all this?!?

The new thing now is, whenever Santorum finishes 3rd or higher in a primary contest, everyone should have anal sex that night. Kind of like taking a shot, yes? My husband is the one who told me this and it still cracks me up. I wonder if it was just a convenient made-up story on his part, but either way, that's ok.

I'm glad this got put into the news again... I used to read Savage Love frequently. Hearing Rick Santorum's name in the news always brings that little redefinition to the back of my mind, and a smirk to my face. Now I've gotten back into reading Savage Love!
