Leif Anderson, a longtime skateboarder whose art is based in interactions he has while he's out on the streets, is having his first solo show in Seattle at Gallery4Culture.

To create this photograph, Leif Anderson he filled a whisky bottle with glass shards, poured in paint and shook the bottle, then projected onto it the image of a smoking man he once met.

At Platform Gallery, it's Suzanne Opton's photographs of soldiers with their heads lying prone on flat, plain surfaces.

This one is called Bruno.

I wish there was a gallery that had both gelato and a new copy of the Mayan calendar.

My old one is running out soon, and it's getting a bit worn at the edges, hard to read.

Bruno is interesting.
