Important Holiday Liquor-Buying Information

From the State Liquor Control Board, details on how to navigate the last Christmas before privatization:

All state-run liquor stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.

State liquor stores will be closed on Christmas Day, Dec. 25.

Monday, Dec. 26 is a state holiday. Most state liquor stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Click here to see the list of open stores.

And for advance-planners, New Years hours in the jump:

All state-run liquor stores will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31. State liquor stores will be closed on New Year’s Day, Jan. 1.

I doubt that post-privatization liquor will be sold on Christmas Day, either.

@1: The Broadway Market QFC is open until 4pm on Christmas Day. They sell beer and wine, and will almost certainly start selling liquor as soon as they're allowed to. Why wouldn't they sell liquor on Christmas?
