Here's Mitt Romney on Sunday, talking about invading Iraq:

At that time, we didn't have the knowledge that we have now...the intelligence in our nation and other nations was that this tyrant had weapons of mass destruction.

And in the light of that—that belief, we took action which was appropriate at the time.

Today, Romney expanded on this statement by saying that we wouldn't have invaded Iraq if we knew then what we know now:

"If we knew at the time of our entry into Iraq that there were no weapons of mass destruction, if somehow we had been given that information, why, obviously we would not have gone in," Romney told NBC's Chuck Todd on MSNBC's "Daily Rundown" this morning from New Hampshire.

But as always, when Mitt Romney makes a statement, another Mitt Romney steps forward and challenges him to a fight. This time, the antagonist is Mitt Romney from a January 2008 Republican debate:

"It was the right decision to go into Iraq," Romney said at the January 2008 NBC debate in Florida. "I supported it at the time; I support it now."
