"This is not poker. This is not a game."

Posted by on Tue, Dec 20, 2011 at 5:06 PM

President Obama, calling out the Republicans for voting to increase taxes of everyday Americans earlier today:

Note the moment at 4:15, when he tells Republicans to be more like the men and women of the military and work together to do what's right. That's some awesome old-school presidential shit, right there.

That's the man who can win in 2012. He just needs to remain that guy.

And if it were a poker game, the Republicans would be the highly-staked retarded card sharps: playing with other people's money, but also with their cards turned around backwards for everyone else to see.

The problem is, the Republicans are most definitely not playing poker. What they're playing is Calvinball.

Well look at that. The Whitehouse is putting shit up on YouTube all by itself. I'll be dammed.

Shit's gonna be different in the future. Little kids writing research papers on the first black president are going to have a lot of easily accesible source material to work with.

Obama is right.

Boehner and McConnell need to resign.

@3-- Did you just say "highly-staked retarded card sharps"?

Yes, yes you did.

Today is a good day.
