Baby is lucky to be bald. My cat used to wake me up with soft paw-pads to the nose or eyelids; now for some reason it's full claw extension into the hairy parts of my scalp.

The parents are paying for that babysitter too, though. The average cat costs around 4 grand to keep healthy its whole life. That's a few hundred hours of human babysitting fees.

Nothing like the 200 grand that kid will have cost by the time he or she is ready for college, of course.

Wow - I would never let a cat do this. When my cat gets "big eyes" and holds his arm still like that, he's preparing to strike. Seriously, that quick lick to the scalp says something too: Tasty. If that kid made a quick move or suddenly wailed - watch out. Baby (as) food.
