It's Tweetalong Tuesday with Seattle Police!

From the SPD Blotter:

Ever wanted to go on a police ride along but never had the time? Curious as to what a day in the life of a Seattle Police patrol officer looks like? Now you can – virtually.

Although the block quote's a bit misleading—it's not that most people don't have time for ride-alongs, it's that SPD no longer offers them to the general public! Luckily for you, today is tweetalong Tuesday! From 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. you can follow the SPD Twitter and keep up with Southwest Precinct patrol officer Scott Luckie on a "typical day patrolling the South Park neighborhood and surrounding areas."

First tweet of the day: "Getting important info in roll call!"

Pee My Pants! What happens next?!?!?!?!?

I have to give them some credit, though. But hopefully this twitter feed isn't going to just this sort of stuff. Honestly, just update it as stream of consciousness of your day. 15 minute updates of a day in the life of a cop in the field.

Nothing more fun than mocking an accident victim!
