Both Sides, Now

Posted by on Fri, Dec 16, 2011 at 11:23 AM

"You know those double-sided billboards that flip around to reveal more ads?" writes Slog Tipper Clinton. "One by Seattle Center has [the greatest show Larry King's ever seen] on both sides!"

Yesterday I was at an intersection slightly southwest of Georgetown where I could see three different Cavalia billboards from my stationary vehicle.

Share your tales of being stalked by the greatest show Larry King's ever seen in the comments!

I was on 99 going south towards Tukwila last weekend and at one point passed 4 or 5 in a row.

There's a flippy billboard on Howell that does that, too. It seems really wasteful. Wouldn't it be more resourceful to put the poster on one side of the billboard and just turn off the spinner mechanism?!?

I would like 2 things for Christmas:

(1) A handjob from Lindsay Lohan --- is that too much to ask for? Am I reaching? Could someone please coordinate that for me?

(2) An end to any mention of the ultimate douchebagger, Larry King's name.

Those are usually three-sided. So it's not completely stupid to put the same thing on two sides, if there's something else on the third side.

There are two in a row, half a block apart on Greenwood just north of 105th.
