Tamara Murphy's new restaurant Terra Plata is finally open. (Protracted legal wrangling with the Melrose Market landlords, including the presence of a buzzing fuse box in the middle of what was supposed to be a dining area, caused the looong delay.) Murphy—of Brasa and Burning Beast and Elliott Bay Cafe fame, and before that, Campagne and (the little-known) Ing, and James Beard and Food & Wine awards—is happy as a clam.
