A Very Calvin & Hobbes Christmas

Posted by on Fri, Dec 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM

Okay. We need to wash the Herman Cain Christmas special out of our mouths, and the only way to do that is with another video. As far as holiday videos go, this is just about perfect:

Even The Far Side had a one-time 30 minute special, there totally needs to be a C&H Christmas Special.

Damn. I miss Calvin and Hobbes. I have to respect Bill Watterson, for retiring at his peak and not letting the strip turn into Gasoline Alley, but dammit, I keep wanting him to come out of retirement anyway.

Calvin & Hobbes is the only thing I consider sacrosanct, but I love this because it's clearly made out of love.

Where were the snow goons? Totally incomplete without them. They were only the namesake for one entire C&H collection!

I have always loved both C & H and the Far Side. I miss them terribly. However, both Watterson and Larson took the high road. The guy who foisted Garfield on the world needs to have his drawing tools taken away from him permanently.
