The Weather Your Seattle Weekend Forecast

It is VERY foggy (and frosty!) and 31 degrees at the Stranger Weathercenter this morning. The weekend looks cold (for Seattle—it's 23 degrees in Denver right now) and sunny and fine (well, except for the AIR STAGNATION ADVISORY that the National Weather Service is shouting about—just don't breathe so much).

Sunset: around 4:20 p.m. this weekend.
Right now: 7 hours and 45 minutes of daylight remaining.

It is indeed 23 here. But sunny. That's better than the snow we've had lately.

First frost I've seen this year (including last Jan, Feb..) on the lawn after sunrise, but I didn't bring in the basil or dill last night and just checked and they're fine. I grilled six peppers from the tree yesterday (some mutant jalapeno/anaheim hybrid, but any pepper will start getting bark here after a few months). Sunny with a high chance that clouds of migrating starlings landing in the palms will annoy the parakeet.

Older people are having respiratory problems, apparently.

Fog rolls in like winter snow on cat's feet, padding around and enveloping us, rubbing up against us and demanding we feed it weekend fun.

I love the fog and frost. I would be taking a morning walk along a riverfront park but I've got a damn cold that's keeping me indoors.

We need more rain. This is pretty but we're going to be dry next year if it doesn't start to rain all day every day like it's supposed to.
