Brother From Another Planet

The brother does not see the Confederate flag as racist but as an expression of "Southern pride."

Why would someone want to be proud of that part of the country that is known for deliberate ignorance, hate and obesity?

@3 The swastika doesnt apply here as it is a traditional cultural symbol for the Hindu religion. The Nazi's stole it.

There are lots of black people who really don't have a problem with the simple display of the confederate flag. I know, I know, it blows the minds of The Politically Correct, but there you have it.

Fun fact: 4% of black Louisiana voters voted for David Duke when he ran for governor!

Evidently, at this point the "Stars and Bars" are the traditional cultural symbol for the South! O.o

Let me see if I got this right:

Big Boi and 3 Stacks posing in front of a Red Black and Green Stars and Bars=genius

This kid doing it=retard

Basically, it's not what's said. It's not even how it's said. It's who is saying it. Intent is validated by station. Bias valets for intent and what? The anointed police the thoughts and feelings of whoever's left standing once speech has been dared?

The hypocrisy engendered by this commonly foisted a-symetrical logic is not progressive. Sorry. Truth hurts.

The swastika represented genocide, the confederate flag had nothing to do with black folks.

@9 - I can't figure out if you're being a troll, or you actually believe what you're saying. The answer the following question might clarify things:

Do you believe the civil war had nothing to do with slavery?
