Herman Cain "Reassessing" His Campaign

Posted by on Tue, Nov 29, 2011 at 9:07 AM

The New York Times says:

In a morning conference call with his advisers, Mr. Cain said that he would make a decision in the coming days about whether to stay in the presidential race after his campaign was rocked by another round of allegations about his sexual conduct.

Oh, God, Herman, please don't quit! You've brought me so much joy! Without you in the race, it will be a mirthless death march to November 2012!

He'll be out by year's end. He got the publicity he needed for his book and his new show on Fox News.

His campaigm may not be good for the american political system, but it turns news hour into jersey-shore-esque entertainment. He's got the money, he should just ride this thing till people stop giving him donations.

The only upside I can see is that maybe people will actually begin paying attention to the candidates who might actually run against Obama ... other than that the funny quotient just dropped an awful lot.

This is a real shame. Where Herman Cain puts his dick is the least of the reasons he shouldn't be president. But this is what everyone will remember about him when the next unqualified bullshit artist comes along.

(Note: I consider the sexual harassment allegations a separate issue. That's an abuse of authority, and therefore relevant to someone seeking tremendous amounts of it.)

Nooo!

This has been the most entertaining primary in decades. It can't end yet. It will suck if Gingrich is the last not-Romney standing. He's far too smug and not nearly as entertaining as the rest of the clown car field of republicans.

Not that the clown had any chance to begin with. But boy, it's pretty amazing what a dumb fuck this guy is.

Maybe it's time to start the process over again. Donald Trump, get in here! Michelle Bachmann, you're on for mid-December!

Can't they tag team like in Luche Libre, Mexican Wrestling. Equal entertainment value IMO. Equal civility as well.

It's tempting to donate and to think of it as just paying the cable (entertainment) bill.

He's going full DSK, isn't he? If I were the maid who had to clean his hotel room, I'd be nervous.

Cain is a testament to how little CEOs deserve their overpriced salaries. Not including CEOs who actually created the companies they ran (such as Steve Jobs and Bill Gates), I'm not seeing much talent or intelligence in that pool.
