Occupy / Olympia State Protesters and State Troopers Assemble at State Capitol

By 9 a.m. the first protesters had already started gathering outside the Capitol Building in Olympia this morning, while a large contingent of state troopers awaited within the legislative building and throughout the campus. Asked if they were prepared for campers, one officer replied, "We're prepared for the attempt, but my understanding is that they won't be allowed." We'll see.

Sparse crowd so far, and already the public WiFi is a little spotty, but I suppose we'll muddle through somehow.

UPDATE: I don't know about Dom, Eli, Cienna and Christopher, but I plan to Tweet pics and updates from Occupy Olympia throughout the week. Follow me @GoldyHA if you like.

@6: Are these the people you're talking about when you accuse protesters of "asking for Olympia to wipe their bottoms? Because some of them really can't wipe their own bottoms, which I suppose makes you the asshole.

@7 SO let's make 'ass-wiping ability' a standard for state run welfare programs. This standard doesn't includes Occupy Seattleites:
