Paedophile Investigator for the Catholic Church Is a Paedophile

Posted by on Mon, Nov 14, 2011 at 2:03 PM

Mail Online:

A Catholic Church child safety co-ordinator who was in charge of investigating sexual abuse allegations was jailed for 12 months today for internet peadophile offences.
Christopher Jarvis, 49, a married father-of-four, investigated historic claims of child abuse, interviewing the victims when they were adults.
He was responsible for child protection at 120 churches and parish community groups for nine years.
This shit is deep. Institutional deep. It's almost like an institutional unconscious. These men can't help it. It's not them. It's the institution itself.

Sockit for the tip.

The real question: Where will he be reassigned within the church after getting out of jail?

Mike Malloy likes to say that paedophilia is the main organizing principal behind the Catholic Church. I'd say it's the ONLY principal behind the Catholic Chuch.

So South Park had it right, then... child sex abuse is written into the catholics' unwritten rules.

Well, that's the most disgusting Charles-ism in a while. These poor men, subjected to an institution that made them molest children.

This shit IS deep. What people don't understand is that the priests and the hierarchy are not the ones that have changed, it's us. Our concept of youth and the innocence thereof is not that old; the old-patron-on-young-apprentice relationship is very old. It goes back to the dawn of christianity. Soooo...the tradition does not HAVE a problem, the tradition IS the problem.

Sadly, thanks to recent news stories, I'm beginning to see disturbing parallels between the Catholic Church and the Church of Football as practiced at certain colleges.

Once again, The Stranger displays its anti-Catholic bigotry and smears with a broad brush. The church is not the "institution," in the stupid profane words of the author, but rather is the people of God. Is Charles going to condemn them, too?

Jesus, learn how to fucking spell, Charles. You're in America now, whether you like it or not.

"These men can't help it. It's not them. It's the institution itself."

Charles, I'm very uncomfortable with that assertion. It most definitely is those men. That the institution is a magnet for them is one problem, but I don't want to believe that the institution can make an ethical, emotionally healthy person into a pedophile.

300,000 babies stolen from their parents - and sold for adoption: Haunting BBC documentary exposes 50-year scandal of baby trafficking by the Catholic church in Spain

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-…

This stuff happened not only to unwed mothers, as if that wasn't horrible enough, but to married parents as well, in the lower economic bracket.

The Spanish Catholic Church, colluding with the Franco's fascist government, committed the most unspeakable act of baby theft, something the so-called Church only ascribes to the devil and his changelings!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b016d7hz

"Spain is reeling from an avalanche of allegations of baby theft and baby trafficking. It is thought that the trade began at the end of the Spanish civil war and continued for 50 years, with hundreds of thousands of babies traded by nuns, priests and doctors up to the 1990s. This World reveals the impact of Spain's stolen baby scandal through the eyes of the children and parents who were separated at birth, and who are now desperate to find their relatives.

Exhumations of the supposed graves of babies and positive DNA tests are proof that baby theft has happened. Across Spain, people are queuing up to take a DNA test and thousands of Spaniards are asking 'Who am I?'

The abominations against humanity exist at all levels where organized religion, and other regious forms are concerned.

@12, Absolutely! With literally decades (really well over a thousand years if you were to do any homework at all) of examples of individual priests raping children (among a host of other crimes) and individual bishops moving them and protecting them and individual cardinals and popes backing them up it should be clear to anybody that the Catholic church is first and foremost concerned with protecting itself from accusation but entirely unconcerned with protecting it's followers from individuals within the church. At this point, anyone who gives money or support to this organization has voluntarily signed themselves up for condemnation.

If I give money to Al-Qaeda or the mafia or any other criminal organization I am culpable for aiding a crime. The Catholic Church (and let's be honest, many other churches) is a criminal organization. It was not priests raping children that made it that. It was the support the leadership showed to those rapists that did it.
