Drugs Thousands of Crack Felons Are Getting Out of Jail Early—and That's a Good Thing

Why is that a good thing? Why do Republican prosecutors, of all people, support letting releasing them early? And why does one corner of Virginia have more people in the federal penitentiary for crack than California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Hawaii combined?
