I hope it's Joe Paterno. Though his death should be slow.

I was gonna say Paul Harvey but it turns out he's been dead for two years. Who knew? So I'll choose the next most odious human being, Barbara Bush.

If we're talking plain famous deaths (as we should, since the "threes" rule has no further distinction), there have already been four (Heavy D and Joe Frasier being the others). But if we're talking about annoying people, I won't shed any tears for Cathy Guisewite, who is now 61 according to wikipedia.

It would be sad to lose Bill Geist, however. I'm sure some people find him annoying.

@18 - Joan Rivers died almost twenty years ago. You can thank Jim Henson Studios for her ongoing career.

Andy Rooney was an absolutely wonderful reporter and humorist who already had a career before your parents were born. Take it back.

@24 Take what back? "Elderly and annoying?" Have you even watched an episode of 60 Minutes in the last five years?

Man, it's been a crazy year for death pools.

The three were: Muammar Gaddafi, Steve Jobs, and Bil Keane.

Steve Jobs was only 56; Gaddafi, 69. Bil Keane was 89, and Andy Rooney was 117, I mean 92. I think another oldster is going down...

@Fnarf: Joking? Or: evidence?

@10--Pat Robertson needs to die in a natural disaster of some sort.

If that happened, I might seriously reconsider believing in god.

We actually have two triplets at work:

Joe Frazier, Heavy D, and ______

and

Andy Rooney, Bill Keane, and ______

I'm voting Magic Johnson for the former and Ken Schram on the later.

Numerology is stupid. STFU. If you don't consider (correctly) "these things come in threes" to be numerology, STFU anyway.
