No, Paul, I Think This Is the Most Disturbing PSA I've Ever Seen

Posted by on Wed, Nov 9, 2011 at 3:45 PM

I had nightmares for weeks, the first time I saw this PSA. (And incidentally, isn't it interesting that McKenna is telling young people to stay away from drinking, while ultimately endorsing Costco's efforts to increase their access to it?)

This is the worst PSA I've ever seen. And it's Canadian!

Jesus fucking christ Goldy. CAN YOU NOT LET THIS LIQUOR THING GO? You are looking less credible by the minute and more like a whining petulant child.

Also, show me ONE ounce of proof how changing the model of how we sell liquor in this state will increase underage access.

@2: Why do you care? You won, I lost. And yet the pro-privatizers are absolutely outraged that I continue to criticize both the policy, and the way it was enacted.

I think you and your cohorts are the ones who are having a hard time letting this thing go.

Goldy, you and Paul are on record as being in favor of ending the "war on drugs" thereby increasing a child's access to narcotics.

@7: Oh, like kids don't have access to drugs now.

Prohibition doesn't work, drugs or alcohol. But what we have no isn't prohibition. It's a state controlled monopoly on liquor sales. Not comparable.

Others already pointed it out, but may as well say it to: Nice hyperbole there, Goldy.

I bet he didn't realize that by encouraging the "young people" of the state to make a habit of participating in their favorite activity, he was telling them to masturbate regularly. Or did he?
