Stay Tuned...

Posted by on Tue, Nov 8, 2011 at 5:20 PM

...for the SECB's election-night coverage. We'll have the winners, the losers, the victors, the victorias, and the Costco-catered buffets. Plus, you guessed it, we're sending Goldy to the Yes on I-1183 victory party.

Please toss your predictions in comments.

When will the show start?

Will in Seattle 2
Initially, the counts will show incumbents doing well, until they count the 20,103 ballots I mailed in today, after which everyone will be shocked at the change in results.

It would have helped if the drop boxes had more space, so I had to go to all the post offices ...

goldy gets drunk on big box store liquor (imported for the party from california) insults some people, gets punched/kicked/assaulted and is then thrown out for disruptions related to putting his head in the way of other people's fists, forks & feet.

I'm with @3. I predict childish and violent behavior from Goldy until Lindy kicks his ass.

After today's meltdown, you should send Goldy to the unemployment line.

@8, remember Lindy's in L.A. now, probably thinking less often each day of Stranger/Index Media LLC and its denizens.

And Goldy @7, not sure Forch will win - could be the only eightysomething out of a job soon is the one named Paterno.

@14: The safe bet is to pick just incumbents, and if I did that, I'd probably have a better score at the end of the night than the way I picked. But if you don't stick your neck out a little in predictions, what's the point?

As for the suggestion elsewhere that I have or will pitch a fit... you guys are funny.

@15, makes sense, and I won't argue, especially since I'm too chicken/lazy to predict the full slate myself.

Ohio's issue 2 (anti-collective bargaining for public workers) just got crushed. Suck on that, Kasich!

Goldy, you already pitched a fit today:

http://slog.thestranger.com/slog/archive…

You really went straight to the personal insults and jibes in the comment thread, in the face of mostly sincere and well-reasoned criticism of your post.
