More Salmon Anemia Found

Posted by on Mon, Nov 7, 2011 at 3:52 PM

Via the Seattle Times:

Three weeks after a potentially deadly virus was found for the first time in two juvenile wild sockeye on the Pacific Coast, it has been found again — this time in other wild salmon from British Columbia's Fraser River.

Again: Thanks a lot, fish farms.

Nothing an oil exporting pipeline from Alberta to the ports in BC can't fix, as sweet tar sands oil flows to China ...

It puts Pig Iron in the salmonid's blood stream, you know...

Do you really read The Seattle Times before The Seattle PI? Joel Connelly wrote more, better, and earlier on this topic:

This is really a catastrophe and a preventable one. ISA wiped out wild salmon in Chile and the Canadian DFO (department of fisheries and oceans) actually tried to stop this information from getting out.

You can find more information on it here.
