The life-sized wheatpasted posters of 99-percenters that formed a colonnade along Fifth Avenue under the monorail were up less than 12 hours before they were torn down—most likely by Seattle's aggressive graffiti cleanup crew.

Which is outrageous.

It takes hours to tint them, and No Touching Ground, the artist, works in editions of only one. So he won't be returning to the spot to replace them.

The ironic part, he points out, is that they were taken down by one or a few of the 99 percent.
