Your Occupy Seattle Weather Report

Posted by on Mon, Oct 24, 2011 at 1:01 PM

It is really beautiful out right now! Did you hear the crazy rain in the night? And the thunder at 4:15 a.m.*? Maybe it was right over my bed—SO. LOUD. Anyhow, while you're marking your calendar for Let's Dance & Occupy Seattle on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m.—with best-human-being-ever Riz Rollins of KEXP spinning, along with Michael Manahan (Starborne/Decibel) and Ramiro (Uniting Souls)—note that the weather plans to cooperate**:

*Kelly O says she also had the bejeesus scared out of her, but when she looked at the clock it was 4:44. We live about six blocks apart. Separate giant thunder? Spooky time warp?? THE NUMBER FOUR BEGINNING ITS GLOBAL TAKEOVER???
**Yes, I am currently knocking on wood.

I saw the lightning at 4:40 or so...I was on my morning run down to Greenlake at that time. Cool, wet and quiet. BRILLIANT time for a run!!
