Put your head between your legs. Wipe the vomit from your chin. Deep breaths, now. We knew this was going to happen:

  • As seen on the Seattle Times
  • This is it: Feed the exhaust tube, roll up the car windows, and put a brick on the gas.

But apparently the good people at Cascade Bicycle Club have been preparing for this moment even if you have not. CBC is leading a bike ride for new riders from West Seattle to downtown on Monday, October 24th at 7:00 a.m. Riders will meet at 2606 California Ave SW in the Admiral District and ride together to Pioneer Square, at which point ride leaders will provide route information to other destinations.

In addition to that, throughout the closure CBC is staffing bike commuter "energizer stations" along the route where new riders can stop for free bike lights, good cheer, and to get their tires pumped. How awesome is that?
