I Think This Is An Ad For Yogurt

Posted by on Tue, Oct 11, 2011 at 10:42 PM

They've convinced me that there aren't enough drugs in my yogurt. I'm switching.

I know this is supposed to be all fun and stuff, but I can't help but think of it as some sort of nightmare scenario where if people aren't assimilated into the gibbering cartoon hordes, they're destroyed in the manner of whoever must have been driving that wrecking ball crane. That doesn't look like fun at all. I don't want yogurt.

This is actually yet another example of the German love of David Hasselhoff- the car that is ticketed at the beginning, inciting this entire cartoon riot, is, of course, KITT, the car from Hasselhoff's supreme achievement, Knight Rider, which is recognized as genius in Germany.
The moral being, of course, dont mess with the Hoff.

Jeebuz, they must have spent a fortune on licensing rights for all those characters...

Love the video.

There are great yogurts available here in Germany.

Müller is definitely not one of them.

Ditto for the UK market, where they are also a major player.

@8 - Hanna Barbera--of which there were, what, two characters?--doesn't strike me as particularly pricey. The rest appeared to be of the Mr. Man and Little Miss series, which seems an even lower licensing bar to clear.
