The shivering horde down in Westlake Park has announced on OccupySeattle.org that the company Jakpaks donated $6,000 worth of their amazing product. What is it, you ask? It's a coat that turns into a backpack—or a tent. Perfect for protesters occupying a wet, chilly park when the city is confiscating tents and tossing people in the slammer. "It is virtually impossible for Seattle Police to literally take the clothes off of our backs," they declare. Here's a video of the Jakpak in "action":

At $250 bucks a pop, that $6,000 is only 24 units, but it's a lovely contribution. There's a $50 discount for anyone who buys a Jakpak and donates it to Occupy Seattle (use the promo code "Occupy").
