TV The Simpsons Couch Gag—Ren and Stimpy Style!

For those still mourning the loss of The Ren and Stimpy Show, on Sunday night the producers of The Simpsons tossed the car keys to R&S creator John Kricfalusi, letting him animate the "couch gag" in the opening sequence. Unsurprisingly, the results are FUCKED... UP. (Fun starts at the :45 mark.)

Although quite nice, I was more impressed by the turn-around time on the Seth Green Hour (& 1/2).

To write, record, animate & get on air 72 minutes of laugh-riot in only four or five weeks -- pretty damn fuckin impressive!

If there was anything I learned from watching the Lost Episodes DVD, it was that it is absolutely best that John K be reigned in.
