The Asserie—why eat anywhere else? (But get vaccinated first.)

Guess I'll be the first ignorant portlander to ask... where this is? And of course, why it is that I'm not a regular there? ("Regular" pun was definitely not intended, though once I noticed it I debated deleting the comment altogether, then decided to go with it. Cause you know, fuck it.)

I found a hair in my food at that place. In fact, I found several.

Their calamari rings in browned butter are quite flavorful, if sometimes squeaky.

Portland's little piece of Paris is now a piece of something else.

I like the food--steamed mussels, yum--and the butcher paper and assortment of crayons on each table is a nice touch.

Cool! I thought they'd gone tits up when they disappeared from the old location. I've always LOVED that place, and went there often when I lived there. Great ambiance, never mind the ass.
