There are these things called servers.... they help websites "serve" their audience. You should get some for stranger tickets...

@10 The same thing just happened to me. I'm really glad that it worked, since last year I spent 5 hours trying to get tickets.

If only we lived in a city where people knew how to make websites and scalable. If only there were only people who knew how to build site where hundreds -- even thousands of people could visit at once.

Alas, we only live in Seattle home of Strangertickets.com

It is way too early in the morning to stare at a tiny spinny thing for me. If there were multiple days I could go, I wouldn't care so much, but I really can only make it to the QA showings, so I'm a little worried...@26, shut your mouth! You'll jinx us all!

Thanks so much for the iPhone tip! I had over an hour of spinny wheel of doom.

Hey Stranger Staff - if you can't afford a decent server set up at least have a physical point of sale for these tickets. Jesus.

Anthony Hecht 45
Hey, thanks for your patience everybody! We have lots of servers, I swear! LOTS! And they're fancy! The demand for these tickets is several orders of magnitude more than you may realize, so things inevitably do get a little slow, but our monitoring has shown tons and tons of successful orders, nothing even close to the situation we had last year (sorry!), and after a minute or two of tuning at the very start, things have been humming along. Sorry if your order was one of the stuck ones, please try again, and don't forget to check your email. If you got a receipt, you got your tickets.

Thanks!

Dearest Olive,

It has been twenty days since I went to buy tickets for HUMP, and there seems to be no end in sight. We're running drastically low on supplies. We only have enough fresh water for another day, and we finished the last of the pie days ago. If I should never see you again I hope that you find this letter and will know my last thoughts were of you.

Love,
MacCrocodile
