Your First-Day-of-Autumn-in-Seattle Weather Report

Posted by on Fri, Sep 23, 2011 at 11:17 AM

Currently, there are a few wispy clouds in a brilliant blue sky, with a light wind, occasional turning-brilliant-red leaves, and ambient temperature of 75 degrees. In a word: gorgeous.

High today of 79—tomorrow promises similar gorgeousness. (Probably rainy on Sunday with a high around 66.)

This is what I want for lunch.

A grand sunset is scheduled today for 7:05 p.m. What are you doing after work?

I'll be walking around downtown. I have a party to go to down by the harbor steps, but that's not until late, so I've got some time to kill. I might do some shopping.

I love this time of the year. The only thing I don't like is knowing that six or more months of depressing gray skies and rain are soon upon us.
