Who am I to criticize anyone else's style?

Ho. Lee. Shit.

That's more than a little impressive.

Also, does the button read, "you are cordially invited to go fuck yourself?"

Yes, it does. My senior picture. Mom wasn't pleased.

I assume there was an electrical storm or no hair products back during the Reagan years?

Man, my hair looks kind of like that. It's a bit more flowing, though.

Well that explains why some of those lovely German boys found you debilitating. You're your own person.

I think I actually said, out loud, "Holy shit, is that Dan?" when I saw this cover.

Class of '82??? Dan, how long are you going to keep up the lies?
1982-18=1964.
2011-1964=47.
Or perhaps you're going to claim that you were 8 years old in this pic and when you graduated high school?

LOVE the Jewfro - are you sure you're Catholic?

Weird. I'd never before noticed the resemblance between Dan and my first boyfriend. Now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it.

Dan, this strait and balding guy wishes I had (or at least could grow) that head of hair.
OK, you probably have to be gay to not think that hair is a bad style. I doubt Marcus Bachman ever grew his hair!
I see a guy with that hair and I think "what does he play? Does he like the same music as me and want to start a band?", not future sex-advice columnist/go-to guy for news show interviews on gay rights.

Dan, I can only hope you weren't quite as miserable as you look in the pic.

Libertyville HS, class of '79, for this Protestant boy.

Fantastic, if not technically fabulous.
I was a big ol' ball of fuzz in the eighties myself, but in my case the only thing that's changed is conditioner (okay there's the salt and pepper, too.)

I didn't want to register to comment over there so I'll put this here: I hope that the first poster at that link (Sparky Malone) knows what he is cordially invited to do.

That portrait is awesomeness incarnate...says so much about the man you would become.

And Catholic high schools suck, man, no doubt about it. At least you weren't cloistered in the 'burbs like me (Benet class of '83).

OMG You Precious Thing You!!

What I wouldn't have given to have Naturally Curly Hair like that.... I subjected my stick-straight hair to years of perms, but I finally grew out of that particular peccadillo...

As #27 says, you're a brave man, Dan! :-)

Dan- I believe you have a good shot at getting some money out of the creators of The Simpsons. It's quite obvious where their artists found the inspiration for Side Show Bob.

By the way- I mean that in a loving, I love SSB way.

Reverse Polarity 37
We all had big hair back then. I didn't have a white fro, but my hair was even longer than this. I had David Cassidy hair (or so I hoped).

Thanks for the pic, Dan. I feel slightly less embarrassed about my senior photo now.
