For me, a house has to be either crumbling or in the future. No other type of house moves me.

Why do people insist on building in styles that are inappropriate to our climate? We are not living in a hot arid desert, so why build in a style that was developed to meet that climate?

That house is right next door to my office, literally. And it is crumbling. The old Japanese couple who live there are very nice, though.

What's crumbling? The shrubbery that takes up 70% of the image? Certainly not the sky, which takes up another 25%. If it's the house, you can't tell by this photo.

You guys are all so species-centric! The tree IS the house. It's home to countless insects, birds, and rodents. Wake up, bourgeoisheeple!!!!!!
