Google+ is still growing very quickly, according to Bloomberg:

Google Inc. (GOOG)’s new social-networking service may grow to claim 22 percent of online U.S. adults in a year, passing Twitter Inc. and LinkedIn Corp. to be the second- most-used social site after Facebook Inc., a survey found.

Google+ has signed up 13 percent of U.S. adults and will add 9 percent over the next year, according to the survey from Bloomberg/YouGov.

I'm a big fan of Google+. I love the interface, I love the different levels of privacy that are available, I love the simplicity of the thing, and the fact that it takes a little bit of thought before you can figure out how simple it really is. When Google+ first launched, I noticed a bit of an internet nerd rapture going on; all of a sudden, my Twitter feed quieted way down. For a couple of days, there were tumbleweeds. People have returned to Twitter for the most part, as they've figured out the differences between the two services (put simply, Twitter is for brevity and quick thoughts and Google+ is for conversations) but if Google+ reaches a—forgive me—tipping point of users, we could start seeing that nerd rapture spreading to other sites, too.
